Juanita Bay Park Interpretive Tour

Join us for a monthly Eastside Park Ranger lead bird walk at Juanita Bay Park!

Songbirds, waterfowl, raptors, shorebirds, amphibians, turtles, beavers, and other small mammals make Juanita Bay Park their home. Interpretive tours of this wildlife habitat are conducted by Eastside Park Rangers on the first Sunday of each month. Meet at kiosk by the parking lot, bring binoculars if you have them.  This event is free. Children aged 6 and above, accompanied by an adult, are welcome. No registration required.

Accessibility
Mostly flat grass/pavement/boardwalk. Boardwalk and paved pathway are ADA accessible, but the grass field is not leveled or paved.

The restrooms are closed during the Winter, but there are normally portables during the Winter. The restrooms usually open shortly after the gates are opened, but not guaranteed so plan accordingly. 

Please plan to be outdoors, with whatever water, snacks, sunscreen, bug repellent, or supplies that you may need.  

Please note that this is Juanita Bay Park and is NOT Juanita Beach Park.

Conditions such as weather, road or park closures can potentially impact this event. This is especially true during Winter months.
