THANK YOU ALL FOR PICKING UP YOUR PLANTS
Based on the popularity of our FREE large tree giveaway earlier in the year, we learned that our community needs smaller shrubs and trees. After receiving the Audubon in Action Grant from the National Audubon Society we hosted the Plants for Birds giveaway on November 9, 2024.
Fall is the best time to plant. So plant your shrubs as soon as you get home.
Take good car of your plants by watering and keeping your plants mulched for the next 3 summers. We will send you email reminders.

Plants for Birds
Eastside Audubon and the Washington State Native Plant Society (WNPS) encourage the use of native plants in landscaping and yards to provide food, shelter, and habitat for our bird populations.
With the help of a grant from National Audubon, Eastside Audubon and WNPS identified 35 species of native plants that are relatively easy to find and have value for wildlife.
